What We Do / Our Focus

Preservation & Protection

We protect historic places and archives — researching, restoring, and safeguarding them from decay and neglect.

The Service

First, do no harm to old walls.

Every preservation project begins long before scaffolding goes up: archival research, measured survey, mortar analysis, and a statement of significance that decides what matters most. Only then do our masons, carpenters, and conservators begin — repairing rather than replacing wherever humanly possible.

From emergency roof coverings that buy a ruin ten more years, to full multi-season restorations, the goal never changes: hand the place on, stable and legible, to the next generation.
